Fall Tour Announcement!

hello everyone! *waves* i have been sitting on this news for a little while now and i am so, so excited that i can finally share the fall tour and STALKING JACK THE RIPPER launch event with you!

i’m planning a bunch of fun things–tasty treats, a door prize, and other SJTR-themed launch-type things for Memphis. i cannot believe my book will be in the world in just six weeks. it still doesn’t seem real.

to celebrate the tour announcement, i’m hosting an international giveaway on Twitter. it includes a signed copy of SJTR and some really fun swag. i hope you enter and wish you lots of luck!

will i see any of you on tour????

*please note! the BOOKS OF WONDER event features both myself and Sarah Porter, author of VASSA IN THE NIGHT. xoxoxo

Hunger Games text messages, pre BEA and Fun.

I’m not actually going, going to BEA this year (I know, I know I’m a terrible writer!)  – but I am meeting up with some pretty cool authors today. So I don’t have time for a real post, BUT I did find something that might make you smile on this Monday. Enjoy random Hunger Games text messages (that have absolutely nothing to do with BEA) from HungerGamesFandom.net.

Here’s one of my favorite songs that again, has nothing to do with BEA or the Hunger Games. But it is a lot of fun…

Song: I wanna be the one

Band: Fun.

It hurts so…good? Broken bones and songs

If you are one of my friends/followers on twitter, you already know the not-so-good news… I broke my hand. Needless to say typing isn’t too fun. SO instead of writing long posts this week, I’m simply going to devote this time to some fabulous music. Happy Monday! <33333

Today’s artist just released his first full-length album, so enjoy and go buy it on iTunes, Amazon, or through his website.

Song of the Day: Watching the Wheels

Today’s song is by the fabulous John Lennon; a man who understood just how important peace, and love are in this world. Enjoy! XOXOXOXOXO

My friend Rachel reblogged this quote, and it’s one of my absolute favorites. It also seems kind of perfect for today, so I thought I’d share it with you too.

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

~Martin Luther King Jr.
