Hey 2012, you look all fancy-like and wonderful – I don’t care what the doomsday-ers say, I see nothing but good things in your future. Seriously, I hope you guys had a great holiday week/weekend! To ease into the shiny new year, I’ve decided to share a top ten list.
Here are my FAVORITE books of 2011 and OMG I’m salivating for MORE, MORE, MORE in 2012. The books are listed in no particular order, because they’re ALL SUPER AWESOME. <3

I cannot believe I still have not read Divergent *shakes head in disbelief while hubby stares wondering what´s going on*!
It is on my TBR…and I will read it in January!
I would say some of my favorites (YA) included: The Scorpio Races, Die for Me and Tangled Tides…

Thanks so much for this list! Many of them are still on my TBR list, but I just got DIVERGENT for Christmas and read it in one day. That good. And I can’t wait for A MILLION SUNS after reading ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.
My absolute fave genre is magical realism, so my top 2011 book was IMAGINARY GIRLS by Nova Ren Suma. Totally sucked me in.
OMGGGGG Can we just GUSH about DIVERGENT for a second??!!!! And GAHHHH I can’t wait for A MILLION SUNS either! Okay, I’m calming myself down now 🙂

I keep passing Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children at the bookstore. Guess I’m gonna have to go get it now. 🙂
