  1. All the best for 2012 Kerri 🙂
I cannot believe I still have not read Divergent *shakes head in disbelief while hubby stares wondering what´s going on*!
It is on my TBR…and I will read it in January!
I would say some of my favorites (YA) included: The Scorpio Races, Die for Me and Tangled Tides…

    1. Same to you in 2012! And OMG Divergent is so good, you’ll LOVE it! Let me know what you think and I’ll definitely add your rec’s to my TBR pile, too 🙂 YAYYY for book sharing! <3

  2. Thanks so much for this list! Many of them are still on my TBR list, but I just got DIVERGENT for Christmas and read it in one day. That good. And I can’t wait for A MILLION SUNS after reading ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.

My absolute fave genre is magical realism, so my top 2011 book was IMAGINARY GIRLS by Nova Ren Suma. Totally sucked me in.

    1. OMGGGGG Can we just GUSH about DIVERGENT for a second??!!!! And GAHHHH I can’t wait for A MILLION SUNS either! Okay, I’m calming myself down now 🙂

I haven’t heard about IMAGINARY GIRLS, and I’m definitely intrigued! Thanks so much for the rec, I’m going to add it to my goodreads pile immediately. 🙂

    1. Awww – It’s waving its cute lil’ book arms at you, making flirty eyes and begging to be read. I promise you won’t be disappointed! 🙂 Happy New Year, my dear!

  3. Oh no, now I have to add more to my TBR pile! Fantastic list! There are several books I’ve wanted to read for a long time. Now I really need to do it!

    1. I SO hear you, my TBR pile is taking on a life of its own! There are just so many amazing books out there *orders more books*

I also just finished the UGLIES series (I know, I’m PAINFULLY behind on that one) but it was another great read. 🙂

  4. Aww!~ You make my heart sing, miss spark of my soul. 🙂 Thank you for putting me up there with those FABULOUS authors!!! WOW. I am so honored. SAWEET! YOU DA BEST.

BTW, you put that Panda mascot to SHAME. (Wonder where we can find a twinkie mascot??)

    1. Holy mother of goat, a twinkie mascot is seriously going on my immediate TO DO list. Picture how cute it could be!!!!! SQUEEE!

And of course I’m putting my interwebs bestie up there on that list! Holy Bejesus, you just wait until next January when your books day of birth rolls around. THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS AND ALCOHOL AND SO MANY SHINY THINGS BECAUSE I CAN’T WAIT FOR IT!!! 😉

  5. Hey i just found your blog a couple of months ago and have gone through 3 of these books so fast and love them all. I was wondering if you just put up a list of books you’ve loved so far this year. I find it hard to find good books – and these ones are amazing!

    1. Yay! That’s great to hear, Chloe! I do have a running list of my favorites in a word doc, so I’ll add a few more, and post it later today or on Friday 🙂
