iPod time: It’s all over now, baby blue

Today I’ll be locked inside a room writing until my eyes cross/bleed/fall-out. Hey, it could happen. Maybe. Anyway, this can only mean one thing… it’s iPod time! Music and writing go hand in hand, and this is the first song that popped up on my shuffle, so I thought I’d share. It’s just a segment of the song to maybe inspire you too. Or not. But the picture for this post is pretty to look at. So enjoy 🙂

“All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home
All your reindeer armies, are all going home
The lover who just walked out your door
Has taken all his blankets from the floor
The carpet, too, is moving under you
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue

Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you
Forget the dead you’ve left, they will not follow you
The vagabond who’s rapping at your door
Is standing in the clothes that you once wore
Strike another match, go start anew
And it’s all over now, Baby Blue” – Bob Dylan

Q: What’s playing on YOUR iPods today? Let me know in the comment section or on Twitter!

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”-e.e. cummings

Just thought I’d share a picture I took a few weeks back. Random drive-by’s make for the best photo ops.
