  1. I’ve been skeptical ever since I heard they cast Jennifer Lawrence, but the trailers are slowly winning me over! I still think she portrays Katniss as much softer than I envisioned her, but I think overall it looks really good. Thanks for sharing this!

    1. Right?! I didn’t think she’d be a badass enough. AND I wasn’t feeling Josh as Peeta, but the more I see the trailers, the more I’m getting excited for it. I can’t wait to see if they were able to stay true to the book.

Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

  2. I agree that with every trailer, I am more optimistic about them doing justice to the books! Sooo excited. Now I have to decide whether or not to hit the midnight showing. I’m getting a little too old for those. 🙂

    1. Ooooh, midnight showing – I never even think about those! What does that say about me?! o.O Grandma likes to be cuddle tucked in bed with a good book by midnight. Butttt maybe I’ll have to make an exception for the Hunger Games 🙂

  3. I’m still super-excited for the movie, but I was a little miffed with the second trailer…almost identical to the first one–BUT STILL EXCITED!

I still am holding reservations over Peeta, I think they cast Katniss well. Gah, why can’t we see it NOW! lol.

  4. I loved how they showed parts that differed from the book. As much as I love a loyal adaptation, it’s really nice to see a director/scriptwriter throw something of their own into the mix.

  5. Yay! I am so excited about this…I was a bit surprised to see the cast for Peeta but he is winning me over with each trailer 😀
