HUNTING PRINCE DRACULA

In this hotly anticipated sequel to the haunting #1 bestseller Stalking Jack the Ripper, bizarre murders are discovered in the castle of Prince Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Dracula. Could it be a copycat killer…or has the depraved prince been brought back to life?
Following the grief and horror of her discovery of Jack the Ripper’s true identity, Audrey Rose Wadsworth has no choice but to flee London and its memories. Together with the arrogant yet charming Thomas Cresswell, she journeys to the dark heart of Romania, home to one of Europe’s best schools of forensic medicine…and to another notorious killer, Vlad the Impaler, whose thirst for blood became legend.
But her life’s dream is soon tainted by blood-soaked discoveries in the halls of the school’s forbidding castle, and Audrey Rose is compelled to investigate the strangely familiar murders. What she finds brings all her terrifying fears to life once again.

  1. This is THE BEST way to start the New Year! I am so happy book 2 is on the way, and that it will feature my very favorite of all the monsters – Dracula. I am already dreaming up all the amazing costumes, and swoon-worthy moments between Audrey Rose and Thomas and maybe Vlad….::wink wink…nudge…nudge::. I wish you so much success, and I can not wait to dig my sharp fangs into Hunting for Prince Dracula. 😉

  2. Oh my gosh! This sounds so interesting, and so good! You’re including Dracula? Interesting! Good luck on this! But I was wondering; are you going to tackle some mental health problems in this? I love how you write about forensic science in the 1800s, and all the stigma around it, but I was also interested in how Audrey Rose and Nathaniel dealt with their father’s poor mental health. And since Audrey Rose has gone through such horrible things in SJTR, I was wondering if someone akin to PTSD would be talked about. I’m not trying to nag or be overly forward, or infer that the forensic science isn’t interesting. I just think it’d be interesting to talk about how people treated mental health in the 1800s. Anyway, I’m really excited for this next book, and it’s an amazing way to start the New Year!

  3. TeacherofYA – Grand Haven, MI – I'm an avid reader of YA. I do Read and Reviews (RaRs) for NetGalley and other books given to me, as well as books of my choosing. I graduated Fall 2016 from Grand Valley State University and will be a high school English teacher. I formed this blog to assist teachers and parents with finding contemporary YA for the classroom or for recreational reading. When I found out my 12 year old niece was given an inappropriate Young Adult title, suggested by a Barnes & Noble employee, I decided that there needs to be information to help buyers pick the right books. Some material is not right for younger YA readers while some is perfect. I like it all, and I want to share to help match books with readers. It's why I want to become a teacher. That, and I want to rekindle the love of reading books...and get new literature into the hands of students. Don't get me wrong: I love the classics! But authors like Lauren Destefano and Marissa Meyer write books that belong in the hands of young readers. I'm just the messenger. Please don't shoot me. If you would like to contact me regarding RaRs, please email me @ starlightshine83@aol.com. I mainly read YA science-fiction and fantasy, so those are the books I am most likely to agree to review. However, I am always open to help an indie author get a leg up! Thank you! 😘

I am so excited! Like omg. I’ve never been more excited about a book!

  5. Omg, omg, omg this has the potential to be even better than Stalking Jack the Ripper was. My excitement level is CRAZY HIGH. *flails* I love how it’s going to be set in Romania – such an intriguing country, yet rarely any book takes place there.
