i’ve gotten a lot of wonderful questions about the different editions of ESCAPING FROM HOUDINI and where readers can snag signed copies, bonus content, and how international readers can also get the custom tarot cards, so this post is dedicated to all of those (INCREDIBLE!) questions!
B&N exclusive edition:
as a reader, i absolutely ADORE bonus content, so when Barnes and Noble asked if i’d create an exclusive, bonus chapter for them, of course i jumped around the house, freaked out my cats, and said YES!!
included in the B&N edition, there’s a pretty swoony chapter that won’t be released anywhere else. i put Audrey Rose and Thomas through the ringer in this book and felt they deserved a little extra time together.

the B&N edition *does* ship to some international countries, so please do check their site. i’m not sure if they’ll be in store or just online exclusives while supplies last, so if you do want a copy checking in with them is the best thing.
another important note: B&N has TWO hardcovers available. One is the hardcover without bonus content, and one has the sticker and description of the bonus material on it. be sure you’re selecting the version you want.
INDIES: signed edition with decorative border:
if signed editions are your thing, then you are (hopefully) going to be as excited as i am that you can grab them at independent bookstores around the country on publication day! these editions are limited and come with those gorgeous decorative boarders around the signatures.
i have always adored independent bookstores, so this makes my heart burst with happiness. please do stop by your local store on September 18th and breathe in that special bookstore smell.

if you’ve already purchased your copy of EFH and want to submit a screenshot of your receipt, please do so on the website JIMMY Patterson Books has set up for it.
i’ve gotten A LOT of questions about readers who live outside the US but who have friends within the country and want to know if they can use their address. that’s actually something i don’t know, but JIMMY books has provided contact information on the pre-order page for any questions. (questions about uploading a wrong screenshot and how to resubmit without trouble can also be asked there.)
you can pre-order ESCAPING FROM HOUDINI from any store (online or in person) and send your receipt in.
if you’re planning on attending one of the tour stops, first of all YAY! can’t wait to see you! please do check in with the stores to see what their individual policies are. i will sign all of your books, but they may have rules regarding the event itself (and how to participate in the signing).

paperback’s of HUNTING PRINCE DRACULA will be hitting shelves on September 4, and i’ve put together some fun bonus material in the back. i’ve gotten a TON of requests for more content from Thomas’s POV, and had a blast stepping back into his mind. the bonus content chronicles Thomas’s relationship with Audrey Rose from the very beginning in a series of letters written between him and his sister Daciana.
