Fall is almost upon us. WHERE, oh WHERE did the summer go? To (grudgingly) celebrate the cooling air, I decided to share a fall inspired cocktail recipe that is SUPER delicious. Enjoy! XO

Ingredients
1.5 oz Cupcake Vodka Original
1.5 oz Apple Cider
One Very Small Piece of Fresh Skinned Ginger
1.5 oz Ginger Ale Lime Wedge & Green Apple Slice
Preparation
Muddle the ginger and Cupcake Original vodka in a mixing glass. Add the cider and shake with ice; strain over ice into a rocks glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with a squeeze from the lime wedge and a green apple slice.
OMG. The perfect cocktail for cake lovers!! YAY, twinkster!! 🙂 BTW, fall’s my fave season. Heh. I’m ready for some cool weather, especially after the drought we’ve had here. Bleck. I’m glad you survived Irene. 😉

Right?! I figured since it’s national cake day and all, it was the perfect recipe to share! 😉 Fall is my favorite season, too! I would just like a few teenie, weenie, little more weeks of summer sunshine, though.
Thank you for the well wishes with the hurricane! Irene devastated upstate New York, so we were VERY lucky to get by with so little damage. Entire towns were wiped out, it’s hard to fathom. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families still struggling in the aftermath.
